We THANK Larry Worthington and the Recovery Cafe Clark County for hosting this month's meeting space and providing us such a great understanding of their mission and how they are using the power of relationships and connections in their programs. More can be found on their Facebook page.

Kay Roberson gave a report back and brought a print-out on the super successful Peer Pathways educational conference in Seattle.
Congratulations to Kay Roberson on receiving the2018 Cindy Willey Awardfor her commitment to Certified Peer Counseling in Washington since 2006!
Sara Angelo encouraged us to join in the upcoming Thursday October 18 SW CHAPS Network Meeting 5p-7pm at the Columbia Bank Community Room and join in the topic of Preparing for the Legislative Season where we will learn how we can effectively use our personal stories for advocacy. (flyer below)
Ren Autrey gave report back on the Residents Action Project statewide summit held recently in Yakima, and our local group's hope to organize an after-election Legislator educational meeting with a guest from the Washington Low Income Housing Alliance. Tentative date is November 19.
SAVE the DATE: We are helping the Council for the Homeless fill the bus headed to Olympia with authentic community voice on Housing and Homelessness Advocacy Day on February 28! -- then we will join more than 600 Housing and Homelessness advocates in Olympia for a powerful day of action. Follow #HHAD2019 on social media for updates!
Thank you for being a part of the SW WA Community Health Advocates and Peer Support Network even if you didn't make this last meeting.
