Vancouver Working Peers Meeting Follow Up
from
Lifeline's Recovery Resource Center in May
9317 N.E. Highway 99, Suite M, Vancouver

Agenda  |  Sign-In sheet

Keith Wells welcomed us to the Recovery Resource Center with sandwiches and a smile! We all enjoyed the table space at first, but ended up in a circle on the comfy chairs a'la living room style in the main room as settled into the meeting. This place is a great spot to start and maintain your recovery journey.  We learned about the Center's available meeting room space and services such as a Recovery-centered library, book store and also wifi access and computers. We were also impressed by the desire to create a welcoming community for people to rebuild life skills and connections to live healthier lives through Recovery. There are support meetings throughout the day for NA, AA, DRA, and SMART Recovery and they are open Monday – Friday 8:30am – 6pm. Many of us plan on returning with someone we know to share this great resource location.

THANK YOU for your attendance and input!
And for those who couldn't attend, we still welcome your input via email or through advocacy - and we look forward to seeing you at a future event!

  • Highlight agencies employing CHWs.
  • Educate key players about the importance of our work in the community
  • Allow workers to show off their successes.
Join us downtown 5pm on Thursday June 20th to help this event succeed!
